How to Save Money on Organic Groceries with Thrive Market

I am an introvert and have always enjoyed using self-checkout lanes in the stores. But now I have an excuse to stay at home and shop! I discovered quite a few money and time savers over the past year and will be sharing them with you in upcoming posts.

My goal has always been to share useful information regarding decluttering, organizing, and saving money. Please know that I would NEVER suggest something to you that I have not personally used and loved. If it makes it onto my blog, that means I REALLY love it! 🙂

What is Thrive Market?

A while back, someone suggested I use Thrive Market to save money on organic groceries, so I signed up for their 30-day trial membership. I figured there wasn’t much to lose, and I haven’t looked back. Let me tell you why!

The first thing I have to let you know about Thrive Market is that it is a membership. You pay $5 per month ($60 each year) to purchase your items. Normally, I don’t join memberships because I don’t like feeling forced to use the service, and I may forget to use it.

That’s not the case with Thrive Market. As long as your purchase exceeds $49, you’ll get FREE shipping. My order always exceeds $49, so I look at it like I’m paying $5 per month in shipping costs. You can order as many times per month as you’d like and still receive free shipping. I like to place one large order each month to simplify my life and routines.

What Does Thrive Market Have to Offer?

I don’t even know where to begin! Thrive Market offers high-quality, healthy, and sustainable products for any budget. I especially like that when a membership is purchased, they will donate a FREE membership to a low-income family. How cool is that? Thrive currently has over 600,000 memberships, which means many low-income families, students, veterans, and teachers are benefiting from Thrive’s generosity.

Another awesome benefit of having a Thrive Market membership is that they offer a huge selection of organic and non-GMO products. If you’re following a special diet such as paleo, keto, vegan, or gluten-free, they’ve got you covered.

The categories that Thrive Market offers on their website are Food, Meat & Seafood, Frozen Foods, Wine, Supplements, Beauty, Bath & Body, Babies & Kids, Home, and Pets.

Most of the brands Thrive Market carries are well-known, such as Annie’s, Bob’s Red Mill, Dr. Bronner’s, KIND, Seventh Generation, and Beyond Meat.

You can be sure the products you purchase are good for you and the planet because they partner with companies that engage in sustainable sourcing and fair trade practices. Thrive Market also has their own line of over 500 products that are only available to its members.

How Do I Save With Thrive Market?

You will be able to purchase your grocery and household items from Thrive Market for 25-50% off retail prices. This is because they eliminate the middleman (and their markup costs) and deliver the products straight to you.

Most members save over $32 per order, so you will recoup your membership fee if you place two orders. However, if you don’t save $60 by the end of your membership year (and trust me, you will!), Thrive Market will give you a store credit for the amount you didn’t save! Again, how cool is that?

My Experience with Thrive Market (An Honest Review)

I have been purchasing from Thrive Market for several months now, and I’m so happy to be a member. My family loves snacking, so it was good to see that we could switch out some of our unhealthy snacks for healthier options.

Before placing my first order with Thrive Market, I checked the prices of the items at my local grocery store to see if I was getting a deal, and the prices offered by Thrive were cheaper than the grocery store. So when they threw in free shipping as a perk, I was sold!

I’ve also been pleased with the products that Thrive Market creates under their own label. Everything I have purchased has passed our taste tests with flying colors (and I have two picky eaters in my house!).

My youngest daughter is a vegetarian and has a nut allergy. It’s so easy to use the filter to find products that I know are safe for her and that she enjoys eating.

Below are a few of the products we have purchased and LOVE!

Where’s My Free Gift?

Enough of me rambling about how much I love Thrive Market! If you’re interested in checking them out, click here, and you’ll receive 25% off of your first order and a FREE gift worth up to $25. If you sign up with Rakuten first, you’ll receive $30 cashback on your first order and 2% cashback for every order you place with Thrive Market. You’re welcome! 🙂

Stop Worrying About What To Make for Dinner Each Night

If you struggle with making decisions each night about what to make for dinner, I created a 28-day meal plan that can help make life easier for you! This meal plan includes 44 pages of 28 family-friendly, taste-tested, and healthy meals. Each of the four weeks is broken down into seven recipes (with photos!) complete with grocery lists.

All you have to do is order the food, have it delivered from your favorite store, and prepare one of the meals each night. Of course, if you prefer to visit the grocery store and purchase the food yourself, you’re free to do that as well!

Also included in the meal plan is a Weekly Dinner Meal Planner that you can fill out and hang up in your kitchen. This will eliminate the dreaded “What’s for Dinner?” question. Everyone will be able to see exactly what’s for dinner each night on the meal planner.

This meal plan will save you time because you can reuse it every month and never have to think about “What’s for Dinner?” again!
