Teacher Appreciation Week -School Supply Cake

Hey all!

Just wanted to share a project I completed for my daughter’s second grade teacher for teacher appreciation week. I got the inspiration from Pinterest, of course!  It was fairly inexpensive and a lot of fun to make (with my 7 year-old daughter).

It was a big hit with the kids-when I visited the classroom the following week it was still intact! My daughter said that no one wanted to use any of the supplies because they didn’t want to mess it up.  So now it sits as a centerpiece on the back table.

Here are the instructions to make this School Supply Cake. I changed a few things to make it our own, but it follows the same basic steps.

Let me know what you think!  Also let me know if you have any cool ideas for end-of-the-year teacher appreciation gifts. 🙂

Also, to all the teachers out there: I GREATLY appreciate the time and energy you invest in our children every day and I hope you had a wonderful week! 🙂

  1. This is such a good idea, I bet it makes a change from chocolate/wine, plus it’s actually useful! I really like the different coloured notebooks you’ve added, they’re a nice touch.
