  • One of the easiest ways to save money on entertainment is to purchase an Entertainment Book or sign up for deals on their website.
  • If you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card, you will be granted free admission to certain museums on the first weekend of every month.
  • Get free e-books to read on the free Kindle app at Amazon. You can also get free e-books for the Nook at Barnes & Noble.
  • Rent a free DVD every month by signing up for e-mails or texts at Redbox. Don’t forget to check your local library for free DVD rentals also.
  • Order free magazines at Freebizmag.com.  You’ll never have to give your credit card info and there are no hidden charges.
  • Sign up for invitations to movie screenings in your area.
  • Plan a trip to a National Park. Entrance is free in January, February, April, August, September, and November.
  • Don’t forget about Groupon and Living Social. They usually offer great discounts on entertainment (usually at least 50% off!)

As you can see, having fun and being entertained doesn’t have to break the bank. Taking advantage of a few of these offers will definitely help you save some of your hard-earned cash!

  1. We love Living Social and have used it to get great discounts on Zoo trips and other family attractions. Great list, thanks for linking up with us at the Family Joy link party. 🙂

  2. I’ve been able to do a lot of fun things with Groupon – a cooking class, a dolphin watch tour, even a sunset catamaran sale on our honeymoon in Hawaii!
